Why shouldn't you drink cow's milk often?

Many people do not tolerate cow's milk well, so you should think about replacing it with vegetable milk, nutritionist Arina Tertyshnaya says.

"People in principle do not tend to consume animal milk throughout life. The fact is that after breastfeeding our digestive system slows down the production of lactase enzyme, which breaks down milk sugar - lactose. Also, many have a genetic "breakdown" of this enzyme, others suffer from an excess of pathogenic flora in the gut, which cannot cope with the excess lactose. In such cases, eating animal milk can only be detrimental. Therefore, I recommend replacing it with plant milk," said the specialist.

According to her, animal milk contains proteins and amino acids that stimulate the production of insulin and the hormone adolsterone, which is responsible for the retention of sodium salts and the excretion of potassium by the kidneys. Such milk also causes a surge in the sebaceous glands, which provokes the appearance of inflammatory processes on the skin, including acne.

"Live cow's milk (A1) contains beta-casomorphin-7 (BKM-7), which stimulates mucus production. Thus, an immunity against one's own body appears. It is better to drink A2 milk, which does not contain beta-casein A1, but now it can be called difficult to obtain," said the nutritionist.
