Metro: What breakfast dish can ease a hangover?

Breakfast when hungover should be an omelet of three eggs in olive oil with avocado, feta cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes. This was revealed in a conversation with the Metro publication by Nutritionist Cara Shaw.

Shaw explained that to recover from alcohol intoxication, breakfast should meet two parameters - to be able to normalize blood sugar levels and not overload the liver, the organ that processes and breaks down ethanol.

The specialist advises cooking an omelet of three eggs in olive oil. Eggs are rich in protein, B vitamins and antioxidants that can support liver function. You should also add half an avocado, a piece of feta cheese, half a cup of mushrooms and tomatoes to the omelet.

Avocado is a source of healthy fats and potassium, which reduces blood pressure and gets rid of swelling. Also, this product contains vitamin E, which plays an important role in many body functions due to its antioxidant activity. Feta cheese is rich in protein and mushrooms are rich in B vitamins, which help digestion.

Also, when hungover, the nutritionist recommended giving up coffee in favor of water. This will help prevent dehydration.
