May 7, 2017  14:12

The second girl of the quintuplets born in Armenia died today, on May 7, in the morning. The girl was born extremely preterm, she weighed about 600 grams at birth.

The quintuplets—four girls and one boy—were born in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, on May 3.

The quintuplets were conceived naturally, without the use of any assisted reproductive technology. Moreover, these are the first quintuplets born since Armenia declared independence on September 21, 1991.

The first girl died on May 6 (https://med.news.am/eng/news/14141/one-of-the-quintuplets-born-in-armenia-died.html). Armenian doctors are now struggling for the lives of the remaining 3 babies.
