Instagram will limit content related to diet products and plastic surgery, PA reported.
Age restrictions will be applied for such posts, and some of them will be deleted on Instagram. The decision is due to concerns about the effects of diets, detoxification and cosmetic surgery on the health and psyche of youth.
Instagram said that under its new rules, posts that promote the use of certain weight loss products or beauty treatments will be hidden from users under 18.
In addition, the platform said that any content that makes a wonderful statement about a diet or diet product and is related to a commercial offer will be removed from Instagram.
According to them, they want Instagram to be a positive place for everyone who uses it, and this policy is part of our ongoing work to reduce the pressure that people can sometimes experience as a result of social networks.
