Coronavirus death toll has reached 638 people, including doctor who first spoke about it. Dr. Li Wenlian, 34, was warning his colleagues about a new dangerous virus at the end of December last year, however, he was forced to keep silent by the police.

News of his death were spread yesterday, but later it turned out that the doctor was alive, although he was in critical condition. Today, however, the hospital confirmed that the doctor had passed away.

A total of 73 new deaths from coronavirus have been reported in the last day. There are 31 481 confirmed cases of infection, of which 4824 (15%) are in critical condition. Meanwhile, 1563 patients have already recovered.
