Coronavirus infected Armenian man undergoes another checkup, might be checked out

March 11, 2020  12:51

The 29-year-old man who was diagnosed with coronavirus in Armenia on March 1 is undergoing another checkup. All others with whom he has interacted and who are currently isolated at a hotel in Tsaghkadzor of Kotayk Province of Armenia will also be tested.

The Ministry of Healthcare of Armenia told NEWS.am Medicine that, for the time being, neither the patient nor the people with whom he has interacted has high temperature or any other signs of the virus. The patient is currently under doctors’ supervision, but isn’t receiving treatment since there are no symptoms.

Doctors say there will be another test, if the results of the second test are negative. If the results of both tests are negative, the patient will be checked out of the hospital, and the same goes for those under quarantine.
