Worldometers.info: Number of people infected with COVID-19 nearing 3mn in world

There are already 2,995,152 patients with the COVID-19 infection in the world. The death toll has reached 207,008, and 881,510 patients have recovered.

According to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/, 1,906,634 patients are currently receiving treatment, and 57,606 (3%) of them are either in critical or very critical condition.

The number of infected people in the United States is approaching one million. At the moment, 987,322 COVID-19 cases and 55,415 related deaths have been registered there.

There are 226,629 infected and 23,190 deaths in Spain, and 197,675 infected and 26,644 deaths in Italy.
China, where the pandemic began, is now ninth in the world in the most number of infected (82,830). A total of 4,633 deaths were reported there over the course of this pandemic.

As for Armenia's neighbors, there are 110,130 cases of infection in Turkey (the country ranks 7th in the world) and 2,805 deaths. In Iran, this number is 90,481 and 5,710, respectively. There are 1,645 cases and 21 deaths in Azerbaijan, and in Georgia—486 infected and 6 deaths.
