What fruit helps to lose weight?

Apples are a useful fruit that can help you lose weight, says nutritionist Courtney D'Angelo (USA).

According to the publication Eat This, Not That!, apples reduce cholesterol, normalize blood pressure and improve intestinal health.

"Apples are especially rich in pectin fiber, which does two things: it makes you feel full and it slows down your metabolism because it's slow to break down," the nutritionist said.

According to her, it is the combination of low calories and nourishment that makes apples one of the best foods for those who want to lose weight. In addition, the nutritionist referred to a study by Japanese scientists, which shows that polyphenols contained in apples directly reduce the amount of fat deposited in the abdominal area.
