Rule for effective weight loss: How much food should be on plate?

People who want to lose weight are advised to follow the "plate rule", nutritionist Elena Solomatina (Russia) said.

According to the publication News.ru, for effective weight loss lunch should be balanced.

"In general, the plate should be arranged as follows: on one side we put vegetables, and the other half we divide in half again. On one side is some protein product, such as meat or fish, and on the other side is some side dish. This could be buckwheat or brown rice," said the specialist.

The specialist also advises people wishing to lose weight to eat food in a stewed, baked or boiled form. And from meat in fried form, according to the nutritionist, it is better to give up. She also advised to drink at least 30 milliliters of water per kilogram of weight during the day.
