People working more than ten hours per day are up to 45% more likely to suffer the devastating brain attack, researchers from Angers University and the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research say.
The researchers analyzed data of a study that involved nearly 144,000 people aged 18-69. They looked at data on age, smoking and working hours, Standard reported.
The study showed that just under a third of participants worked long hours, and 1,224 had had a stroke.
