The world has changed, and we should change either if we want to succeed, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said during the Futures Studio webinar together with FAST.
According to him, it’s difficult to understand what the world will be like after a coronavirus.
The world, he said, is changing in any case - with or without coronavirus. Coronavirus is not the cause of change in the world, but it 'looks like a cold shower, a message from God that something is wrong with the planet.'
According to Armen Sarkissian, coronavirus is a kind of test for a person, for a family, for neighbors and friends, for relations with people and with parents, this is a test for humanity. Coronavirus is also a test for business that faces serious challenges, as well as a test for government and relations between national governments.
Coronavirus, according to the president, seriously influenced the situation in the world: in the recent past, for example, every 3-4 news was about Syria, but now almost no one talks about it, and most news in the media are about coronavirus.
According to the president, the situation with coronavirus should lead people to short-term and long-term conclusions - about how to organize your life, board, business in the future, where to invest money and so on.
“I came to the conclusion: the world has changed, and we should change either, if we want to achieve success,” the president said.
