More children were born in Yerevan in 2020 compared to 2019; Hakob Karapetyan, spokesman for the mayor of Yerevan, wrote about this.
"In 2019, 21,424 children–11,251 boys and 10,173 girls—were born in the capital, whereas in 2020—21,919 children—11,430 boys and 10,489 girls," he wrote.
