Ara Darzi to head Armenian committee on drafting oncology development strategies

Armenian committee on drafting oncology development strategies will be headed by the former health minister of the UK, British House of Lords member, director of the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London, and Executive Chair of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), Ara Darzi, Armenian Health Minister Levon Altunyan said at the meeting with CEO of the Iranian company Varan Parto Darman Mohammad Hojatpanah and president of Varan Armenia Mohammad Shahran.
The minister noted that the decision on development of national strategy was made taking into account the social importance of the problem.
