FDA seeks to cut nicotine in cigarettes

The FDA is seeking to cut nicotine in cigarettes, trying to make them less addictive.
According to the German News Agency (DPA), FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said: “We should create a world with “non-addictive” cigarettes by reducing nicotine levels.”
Gottlieb has issued his directives to the FDA to use its authority to start the regulation of nicotine in cigarettes in order to reduce or undermine their ability of addiction.
Nicotine is the chemical substance that puts consumers at a risk of cigarette addiction.
