Abul Bajandar, 28, of Bangladesh suffers from a very rare disease, due to which he has been nicknamed "man-tree". His skin is covered with growths that look like the bark of a tree. The scams greatly deteriorate the quality of his life and cause unbearable pain, due to which Abul asks surgeons to amputate his hands, The Sun reported

Abul has an extremely rare skin condition known as epidermodysplasia verruciformis, also known as "Tree-man syndrome”.

"I cannot bear the pain anymore, I can't sleep at night. I asked the doctors to cut off my hands so I can at least get some relief,” he said.

His case is due to be discussed by a board of seven doctors, according to Samanta Lal Sen, the chief plastic surgeon at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The Prime Minister of the country, in turn, said that Abul will not have to pay for treatment.
