Exercises improve sex life?

Exercise not only positively affects the body, but also improves sex life, CNN reported

Aerobic exercise is especially good for improving the cardiovascular system, which stimulates blood flow throughout the body, including the genital area. According to experts, everything that supports the cardiovascular system will support the sexual response of a man or woman.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of active aerobic activity every week. Walking or light biking are two examples of moderate exercise; the more energetic ones are jogging, fast cycling, or participating in a basketball or football game.

A new study suggests that higher levels of aerobic exercise can further improve sexual performance, stamina, and desire in active men and women.

According to the author of the study, Dr. Benjamin Breyer, amateur athletes who are “really active, really interested in sports” took part in the study.

"This is a special cohort of people," Breyer said, "so it's not the average person. This is a pretty physically fit group."

In men who ran 11 km for 4.5 hours a week, the likelihood of erectile dysfunction decreased by 23%.

"Women who were the most fit reported the least sexual dysfunction," Breyer said. "They had the least difficulties with arousal, the least orgasm dysfunction."

Breyer notes that the study was for informational purposes only because it was conducted online and was based on self-assessment of levels of physical activity and sexual dysfunction.
