A woman in the UK, 49,  Louise Edwards was hospitalized after being bitten by a venomous spider. Nothing threatens her life, but a big hole remains in her armpit, Fox News reported

“Edwards deduced that she had been bitten when she put a sofa cushion under her arm. The likely culprit was a false widow spider, which typically has a mild effect on humans,” the source noted.

The woman did not go to the doctor, as she considered the bite not dangerous. But the next day her hand ached, however, Louise still do nothing. After 2 days, the bite site was swollen to the size of a golf ball, and the pain became so severe that Louise had to take pain medication. She finally went to the doctor who referred her to the hospital.

Louise had to undergo a ten-minute surgery, during which the doctors removed the tissue that had died from the poison of the spider. As a result, a hole almost four centimeters in size remained in the woman’s hand just above the armpit.
