Girl, 7, saves her mother’s life thanks to YouTube videos

Jessica Kinder, 7, from Preston, Lancashire, saved her mother’s life through a YouTube tutorial, The Sun reported.

Jessica Kinder was watching TV when she saw Becky Green, 32, collapse after a seizure.

The girl immediately took a glass of water and sprayed her mother’s face and called an ambulance from her locked phone.

A woman came to her senses only when paramedics arrived home. She was taken to the nearest hospital, where examinations showed that she had an attack of epilepsy.

“My little girl straddled me to do CPR because she thought I was dying. I’m so proud of her. She is my hero. I asked her, ‘How did you know what to do?’ She said, ‘I saw someone do it on YouTube’. She likes watching videos and I know that she takes things in quite well but I had no idea she had watched a video about CPR. If she hadn't known what to do and acted so quickly who knows what might have happened?"

Doctors suggested that the cause of the epileptic seizure was an incident that occurred with Green 12 years ago: then she fell and hurt her head. However, an attack of epilepsy occurred for the first time. She will have to undergo additional tests that will reveal the exact cause of the disease.
