Newborn baby diagnosed with coronavirus

A newborn baby was diagnosed with coronavirus in China, BBC reported.
The baby was born on February 2 in Wuhan - the epicenter of the outbreak. He has become the youngest person to be diagnosed with the virus. The diagnosis was made 30 hours after the birth.
According to doctors, the mother of the baby became infected during pregnancy. However, experts can not explain how the virus was transmitted to the child. According to one of the doctors, this incident may indicate a new method of transmission of the disease.
The condition of the child is stable.
