David Alexander Williams, 79, from the Wirral in Merseyside, twice defeated cancer, but died of COVID-19 complications, Daily Star reported

A “healthy and active” dad who beat two serious cancers has died just days after being struck down by coronavirus symptoms.

In late March, he faced COVID-19 symptoms, but he tried to cope with them at home.

However, he was later hospitalized and it was confirmed he had developed pneumonia and was suffering from sepsis. And just two days later, on Monday, David tragically died.

Williams had a wife, four children and four grandchildren.
