Smoking is known to be one of the major risk factors for cancer; it is one of the most famous carcinogens, if not the most famous. However, smoking can also increase your risk of developing other diseases, such as heart failure.

The evidence is clear: smoking is detrimental to overall health. Smoking increases the risk of lung disease, cancer and heart disease.

A new study from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health found that smoking can also increase the risk of heart failure. The study is considered one of the first to evaluate the association of smoking with the two dominant subtypes of heart failure.

As part of the study, scientists analyzed data from about 9,500 people.

As a result, they found that even those who quit smoking had an increased risk of developing heart failure.

Moreover, the longer a person smoked, the more the risk of developing the disease increased.
