Why should you eat beans ever day?

Endocrinologist-nutritionist Albina Komissarova spoke about the benefits of legumes for the health of the whole organism, writes MedikForum.

What exactly is bean? The list is big. In addition to the familiar beans, soybeans, mung beans, lentils, peas and chickpeas, peanuts also belong to the legume family. All products are very affordable, you can buy them in any supermarket.

What are the benefits of legumes? They are high in plant-based protein, remember that half of all the protein you get should be plant-based. Legumes contain a large amount of fiber, which means they give satiety, reduce the risk of developing cancer and cardiovascular diseases, says the expert.

By adding legumes to your diet, you can significantly diversify your daily diet. They contain a small amount of fat, which means that weight gain does not threaten. Legumes are rich in iron and B vitamins.

Anticipating the issue of bloating after eating legumes, the expert recommends soaking them before eating them. If this does not help, drain the first water after boiling.

Regular consumption of legumes will help solve most digestive problems. If you notice heaviness after legumes, start with lentils and chickpeas. Because of their thin skin, they are considered easier to digest.
