Yerevan hosts seminar on gynecological ultrasound with Italian professor

A seminar on gynecological ultrasound examinations will be held in Yerevan on November 5-6. The workshop will be held at Matenadaran starting at 9am Yerevan time.

The guest speaker will be Antonia Carla Testa, Scientific Director of the Center for Ultrasound in Gynecological Oncology “Class Ultrasound” of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation.

Professor Testa is also Associate Professor of the Institute of Obstetric and Gynaecological Clinics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She was a Board of the International Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) for 8 years ,and she has been Vice-President of the SIEOG (Italian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) for two years.

She is a member of the International The International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA) in 2000. Testa has conducted more than fifty research projects on gynecologic cancer and chemotherapy protocols, and her research has enabled leading ultrasound companies to improve their ability to diagnose and recognize tumor lesions.

Learning Objectives:

• To learn new diagnostic approaches and techniques in gynecologic ultrasound
• Apply them in the treatment of patients
• Use ultrasound as a basic skill for diagnosis in clinical practice
• Become familiar with common and complex radiologic pathologies

The training format is based on 30-minute lectures, interactive lessons, and discussion of complex and rare clinical cases. Participants will receive 15 NMO credits.

Target audience: radiologists, gynecologists, obstetricians, oncologists, residents.
