December 26, 2019  15:40

Banknotes are ground for infections: the influenza virus remain on banknotes for up to two weeks, and you can catch the infection by withdrawing money from an ATM or receiving a salary in banknotes, experts from Russia warn.

They noted that some countries print banknotes on paper with antiseptic properties.

Specialists of the department advised to take antipyretic drugs for influenza if the body temperature exceeded 39 degrees, because normal or slightly elevated body temperature is a paradise for the virus.
