In the study, scientists from the University of Washington analyzed the health of 153,700 veterans who had confirmed COVID-19. Most of them (131,000) had had the infection easily. Their data were compared with health information from more than 5.6 million people who did not have the coronavirus and another 5.8 million patients seen through 2019, journal Nature Medicine writes.
