Is it worth eating junk food sometimes?

From time to time you can allow yourself so-called cheat meals, when you can eat junk food, said Dr. Chavdar Pavlov (Russia) in a conversation with AGN Moscow.

Pavlov believes that you should have a cheat meal every week to maintain your basic metabolism, because during a diet or a restricted diet, it decreases.

"If done correctly, a cheat meal can do no harm to the body. It is done once a week, preferably on a weekend," said the specialist.

With a cheat meal, the gastroenterologist recommends eating caloric foods in the morning or afternoon.

"Throughout the day, it is mandatory to observe the rhythm of eating, drinking regimen. Choose dishes not only caloric, but also healthy - cereals, potatoes, fish of fatty varieties," the specialist said.
