22 hospitalized due to health problems after e-cigarettes and vaping

At least 22 people are hospitalized in the US due to health problems after e-cigarettes and vaping, CBS reported

In Wisconsin, 12 people are hospitalized for lung damage, six in Illinois, and four in Minnesota. Most of them are young people who previously had no health problems.

Minnesota doctors initially believed hospitalized adolescents had a respiratory infection, but further examinations revealed lung damage that caused coughing, severe pain, and shortness of breath.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) previously reported an investigation into 127 cases of health problems after smoking vapes.
