COVID-19: Armenia vaccinates 600 people

600 people have already reported in Armenia to be vaccinated against COVID-19, Gayane Sahakyan, head of the National Immunization Program of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told reporters.

There is no queue for a specific vaccine at the moment, she noted adding that people aged over 55 and those in the risk groups will be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, and those aged under 55 - with the Sputnik V vaccine.

According to health minister Anahit Avanesyan, it is planned to vaccinate about 700,000 people against the coronavirus within a year.
