Neurologist Pavel Khoroshev warned people suffering from migraine against eating certain foods. Some food additives can provoke an attack, the expert told Sputnik radio.
According to the neurologist, eating fatty meat can provoke a migraine, but a vegetarian diet helps some patients improve their condition.
The specialist noted that certain drinks, such as coffee, tea and red wine, are much more likely to cause migraine attacks. At the same time, the expert emphasized that other alcoholic beverages do not affect the course of the disease so much.
Eating cheese, chocolate, and some food additives can also lead to headaches. In principle, it is worth limiting the use of sugar and not using a sweetener.
Khoroshev added that every seventh inhabitant of the Earth complains of migraine attacks, Moskovsky Komsomolets writes.
