The history of the use of aloe vera in medicine goes back thousands of years. This plant, which has earned the status of a natural pharmacy, has been used for centuries to treat various ailments. As Interia portal notes, more than 70 biologically active components have been found in the composition of aloe, which confirms its exceptional value for human health.

Experts of the World Health Organization refer aloe vera to plants with high biological activity. Despite the fact that the pulp of the plant consists almost entirely of water, the remaining one percent is a concentrated complex of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that provide a multifaceted effect on the body.

In modern cosmetology, preparations based on aloe occupy a special place. Gel of the plant is an effective base for creating masks, creams and hair products. With problem skin, aloe helps to cope with inflammation and minimize the appearance of scars. Of particular value is the plant's ability to stimulate collagen production, which has a positive effect on skin elasticity.

The immune system is also supported thanks to the rich antioxidant composition in aloe. During times of increased illness, many people turn to this plant as a natural remedy to strengthen the body's defenses.

Medical observations point to the positive effect of aloe vera in diabetes - the plant helps normalize blood glucose levels and improves the susceptibility of tissues to insulin. However, it is important to realize that this is only an auxiliary means in complex therapy.

The gastrointestinal tract is especially responsive to the use of aloe juice. The plant optimizes digestive processes and helps to maintain healthy peristalsis. At the same time, the dosage should be strictly observed to avoid excessive loosening effect.

Detoxifying properties of aloe and its beneficial effect on liver function are also noteworthy. Nevertheless, the use of the plant requires consultation with a doctor and should be part of a comprehensive approach to wellness.
