A combination dangerous for the brain were found in food plastics

The famous component in consumer products, including plastic dishes,  causes brain hyperactivity in zebrafish. This problem is connected with infamous bisphenol A which is still used in the production of plastics.

But some countries   have replaced BPA with bisphenol S (BPS) in order not to raise public annoyance. This gave them the right to label as "BPA-free", CTV News reports.

From the results of their studies on fish scientists can make conclusions as fish and human genes are similiar for almost 80%. They used the minimal dose containing in drink water (it should be noted that combinationss can't be filtered). However, the component changed the timing when neurons were formed in the brain. BPS increased the number of neurons by 240 per cent which led to the formation of abnormal brain circuits and behavior changes.
