In Armenia, for 11 months of 2013 were born 38453 children, reported NEWS.am Medicine in the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
The chamption is the capital - as of November 30, 2013 in the maternity hospitals of the capital there were born 19732 children – this figure exceeds the total figure of all other regions.
In all regional maternity hospitals of Armenia together within 11 months of last year 18,721 children were born. In the regions most children were born in Ararat region - 2361, the least in Vayots Dzor - 479. In Aragatsotn the number of newborn infants was 1064, in Syunik - 1324, in Kotayk – 2262, Armavir – 1817, Gekharkunik – 2305, Lori – 2620, Shirak – 3350, Tavush – 1189.
