Foreign students in the Chinese city of Wuhan, which was quarantined due to the 2019-nCoV coronavirus, found in a quandary: many of them lack food supplies and are afraid to starve to death.

According to The Daily Mail, Pasnicha Krutdamrongchai, a student from Thailand, is begging the government of her native country to begin the evacuation of citizens. She is afraid that she, like many others, faces death from starvation.

The city of Wuhan is closed for quarantine - entry and exit to the city are limited. Many people have encountered serious problems because of this.

According to Pasnicha, almost all catering establishments were closed in Wuhan. Students did not buy food for the future, so their edible reserves were almost completely exhausted. The local supermarkets, which are still working, almost ran out of food, according to a girl on social networks. Moreover, students are not even allowed out of the hostel so that they go in search of food, but no one provides them with food.

Wuhan has faced maximum isolation in its entire history; travel to and from the city is prohibited. According to Pasnicha, the Thai government is not doing its best to evacuate citizens from China. Students from the US, Japan and Indonesia are in constant contact with the embassies of their countries. Japan began the operation on Tuesday to export fellow citizens, and the first flights of South Korean charter planes are scheduled  on Thursday.

The Thai government recently admitted it is not able to contain the epidemic of coronavirus in its own country, where there are a huge number of Chinese tourists.
