People who don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables face the risk of development of anxiety disorder. This is stated in a new study by the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
Scientists have also noticed that development of anxiety disorder grew by more than 70% when the amount of fat in participants’ organisms exceeded 36%.
Interestingly, gender, civil status, income and certain diseases also have an impact on the emergence of anxiety. Scientists have also detected a high risk of anxiety among migrants. Interestingly, 1 out of 9 women and 1 out of 15 men have faced anxiety. People who are single have a 13.9% higher risk of anxiety, and this is higher than for those who live with partners (7.8%).
