One diagnostic test for COVID-19 with China's PCR tests costs about $ 30. If 1,000 studies are done daily, it will be spent $ 30,000 a day, and about $ 1 million a month, Armenian health minister Arsen Torosyan said on Friday at the parliament.
According to him, due to local tests, it will be possible to save a lot of money.
Earlier, PM Nikol Pashinyan noted that the number of COVID-19 tests conducted daily will increase in Armenia as much as possible.
Moreover, he said, it should be understood that their possibilities are not unlimited.
"Yesterday we conducted 2,297 tests, which is practically the limit of our capabilities. Now even private labs are conducting tests," Pashinyan added.
