Russia researchers completing development of drug against COVID-19

Russian researchers are completing the development of a drug that can stop the development of the coronavirus. This was announced by Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko in an interview with TASS.

According to him, there is no medicine in the world against the coronavirus, and the aforesaid drug being created in Russia will be able to interrupt the course of COVID-19 at the initial phase of contracting it.

The first drug for the treatment of coronavirus was registered in Russia on November 12, it is called Areplivir, and this medicine is expected to reach the hospitals by the end of the year.

The company Promomed, which created this drug, stated that they were the first to create the injectable form of favipiravir, despite the fact that the powder does not dissolve in water.
