Nutritionist Irina Strogaya in an interview with SOLENKA.INFO told what kind of bread can you eat when losing weight.
The expert told whether bread should be excluded from the diet of people who are trying to lose weight. According to the nutritionist, losing weight is a long and difficult process, which involves not only adjusting the daily menu, but also adding physical activity, controlling the quality of sleep, giving up bad habits.
The specialist reminded that now there are many different kinds of bread on store shelves. For its preparation manufacturers use different cereals: wheat, barley, rye, corn, buckwheat, rice, oats, millet. These cereals contain many vitamins, organic and mineral substances that our body needs. For example, vitamin A is a natural antioxidant, improves health and mood, increases the concentration of attention. Vitamin E has beneficial effects on the skin. B vitamins are necessary to maintain the normal functioning of the nervous system and help combat stress.
When losing weight she strictly recommends not to give up eating bread completely, but to reduce its quantity and give preference to the following types:
- Yeast-free of different types of flour;
- Protein bread with the addition of cottage cheese, eggs, nuts and seeds;
- bread made with wholemeal flour.
The nutritionist also advised to carefully study the composition of the bread before buying it, paying special attention to its caloric content.
