American scientists have questioned the benefits of vitamin D

American scientists have questioned the benefits of vitamin D. They came to this conclusion on the basis of 40 studies, held in different years.

As stated in the article published in the scientific journal The Lancet, researchers found that the use of vitamin D, only in 15% of cases helps prevent heart attacks, strokes, cancer and bone fractures.

Scientists argue that low levels of vitamin D is a consequence, not a cause of ill-health.

Meanwhile, it was previously assumed that this vitamin deficiency negatively affects health and is associated with early death syndrome.
