In an interview with SOLENKA.INFO, nutritionist Victoria Kuzmina listed seven foods that can be eaten at night.
The expert noted that the night hunger is much more harmful to the body than a late dinner. But the last meal should be at least one hour before bedtime and should consist of foods that will not adversely affect your health and figure.
According to the nutritionist, the night ration should not include heavy calorie foods and alcoholic beverages. The best for a late dinner are foods with high protein content, little fat and no carbohydrates.
White fish steamed or baked in the oven, is ideal for a late meal. Kuzmina recommends using fresh or baked vegetables as a side dish.
A glass of kefir or natural yogurt with berries will help to cope with hunger and have a beneficial effect on the digestive system.
150 grams of chicken breast or turkey meat marinated in spices and herbs, cooked in the oven, grilled or steamed will be a great dinner, which will not harm your figure and health.
Both chicken and quail eggs can be used. Boiled eggs are ideal as a late dinner. To reduce calories, the expert recommends consuming only protein.
Seafood salad with greens and avocado is a great dish for a late meal. But, the portion should not be too large (no more than 200-250 grams).
Nuts are also suitable for a late snack. One handful of hazelnuts or almonds will not only eliminate the feeling of hunger, but also saturate the body with B vitamins and magnesium.
Baked vegetables with the addition of garlic and a little vegetable oil, especially olive oil, will only benefit our health.
