However, whiskey and other strong drinks are also dangerous, since they lead to severe intoxication. They are slowly absorbed by the circulatory system, as they suppress the functioning of the cells of the stomach, Sosabowski said.

He also cautioned against the abuse of sparkling wines, which lead to rapid intoxication.

According to the doctor, you should not try to alternate alcohol with water in order to slow down intoxication when it comes to strong drinks with an alcohol content of 40%. It is also not recommended to drink light drinks heavy - this also will not lead to anything good.
